Last week, the third Sophion Bioscience Ion Channel Modulation Symposium of this year took place in Boston, US from October 23-24. It was an exciting 2 days full of great ion channel discussions, talks, poster presentations, and a lot of networking.

Dr. Şerife Yerlikaya is visiting our Copenhagen laboratory. Through her research grant she plans to further cancer and ion channel studies, ultimately leading to safer, improved repurposed chemotherapeutics. In a recent interview, we discussed her research and targets for her stay.
